GEC has many programs to choose from – see the indvidual page links for more information about each course. Many students start in General English and then decide to move on to other courses. If you already know what you’d like to study, tell us your preferred option on the enrolment form.

Global English Centre offers a range of English language programs that are designed for students who want to improve their English Communication skills; successfully sit an English language exam, or intend to study at overseas universities in the future, or build their self-confidence speaking English.

General English conversation commences every Wednesday evening and students may attend as many sessions as they like. There is absolutely NO assessment in this program. Our native English speaking teachers will be moderating the English Conversation Classes.

arrow2 Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone wanting to practice speaking in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. There is no actual instruction involved in this course. Minor corrections are made after the speaker has finished stating his idea.  If the moderator recognizes a particular problem, he will mention it to the student after the meeting, only to make the student aware of the need for extra work in a particular area. A variety of topics are discussed from everyday life topics to social and political topics. Students decide each week on the next week’s topic.
